About Me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts. I am accepting new clients for individual therapy in-person and via telehealth.

Over the course of the eight years I have been in the field, I have worked in a variety of settings including in-home family therapy through the Department of Mental Health, working with children in the Wellesley Public Schools, and working individually with adults and children in outpatient therapy practices. I earned my masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Framingham State University and my bachelors degree in psychology from North Carolina State University.

In my sessions, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Motivational Interviewing, psychodynamic theory, mindfulness, and meditation. Like my clinical approach to therapy, I pull from a variety of sources for my philosophical perspective on therapy as well. I've found the work of people like Thich Nhat Hanh, Ram Dass, and Viktor Frankl to be major influences on my approach, as have the important hobbies in my life like movies & TV, weightlifting, meditation, video games, and playing music.

In addition to my work as a therapist, I am a faculty member at Framingham State University serving as an advisor and professor for the Counseling Psychology graduate program.
